Pass percentage in Kerala SSLC exams have always been impressive. Last year, the overall pass percentage was 97.84. Kerala SSLC exams 2020 were initially slated to be conducted from 10 to 24 March, but some papers had to be deferred in light of the outbreak of the COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown.
The pending exams later took place between May 26 and 30. Over four lakh students had registered for Kerala SSLC 2020 exam this year.
The remaining exams were held observing coronavirus guidelines. Students were asked to wear masks at exam centres and follow physical distancing norms.
How to check Kerala SSLC 2020 result
Step 1: On the official website of Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan at keralapareekshabhavan.in and keralaresults.nic.in and opt for the link that reads SSLC result
Step 2: Enter details such as roll number and date of birth to log in
Step 3: The Kerala SSLC result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
Other than these sites, results can be accessed through the official mobile phone app Saphalam 2020. Through this, you will get school wise, district wise and DEO wise results in the Result Analysis Link. The application has been powered by Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education.
A student needs to score 35 marks out of 100 in each subject to pass the examination. For subjects having different papers for practical and theory, students will have to pass both sections separately.
Usually, Kerala Board announces result in the month of April or May, but this year it got delayed due to the outbreak of Covid-19. Initially, Class 10 board exams were scheduled to be held from March 10-26. However, the Kerala board had to cancel the physics, chemistry and mathematics papers due to the lockdown. Later, these papers were held in the month of May keeping Covid-19 protocols in place.
Meanwhile, DHSE Kerala will announce the result of Class 12 or plus two board exam 2020 on July 10. Over eight lakh students had appeared for plus two exams this year.
In 2019, as many as 4,31,762 had cleared the Class 10 board exam and the overall pass percentage was at 97.84.
